Finance Committee

Overview


The Finance Committee consists of seven to nine members who each serve a three-year term. They customarily prepare for and participate in approximately 10 after-work meetings annually.

Primary responsibilities and duties of the committee include:
  • Review of the annual budget and make recommendations to the City Council prior to its adoption
  • Review the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) annually
  • Advising the City Council on other financial matters impacting the City as requested by the City Council or staff
