Mayor and City Council
Responsibilities
The City Council is the elected governing body of the City of Creve Coeur. It enacts legislation and citywide policies to protect and promote the health, safety and general welfare of the community.

Each of the four city Wards elects two council members for staggered two-year terms. The Mayor is elected
City Council Meetings
The Council meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers located at the Government Center, unless otherwise posted. Work Sessions are held prior to the regularly scheduled Council meetings at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at the Creve Coeur Government Center.
***As of June 2021, City Council meetings will be held in person at the Creve Coeur Government Center (300 N. New Ballas Road), as well as livestreamed online. The Council Chambers will be open to the public, and citizens may provide public comment either in person or virtually via Zoom.
Citizens who would like to provide comments virtually during the City Council meeting are encouraged to register online in advance using the Public Comment Registration Form. Registration forms must be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on the day of the City Council meeting. Citizens who have not registered in advance may also be permitted to speak, if time permits, after all pre-registered citizens have had the opportunity to speak. Each speaker is allowed three minutes to provide comments.***
