The public is invited to attend a public meeting on Tuesday, April 30th at the Danforth Plant Science Center, in the Atrium just beyond the main lobby area to hear a presentation about the streetscape improvements, review the designs and provide your feedback. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. Presentation is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. and refreshments will be provided.
The Old Olive Street Road Streetscape Design proposal provides for improving access and circulation for all modes of transportation as well as improving the visual appearance of the area. A new landscape concept, lighting features and design amenities, along with the opening of Lindbergh and Old Olive intersection will be presented. These improvements will support the efforts of the 39˚N Master Plan to attract the biotech industry to the area, as well as address the needs of businesses, commuters, visitors, and residents who will enjoy and benefit from an enhanced street. This enhanced street will support people, cars and bikes.
