Local food banks have seen a spike in requests for food assistance since the beginning of the pandemic. Since the Creve Coeur Police Department cannot hold the traditional Creve Coeur Night Out, let’s bring the community together to help those in need. All food items collected will be delivered to local food pantries the day of National Night Out on October 6, 2020.
Items will be collected between September 21–October 5. Donations can be dropped off at the Creve Coeur Police Station lobby (350 North New Ballas Rd.) or you can arrange for Crime Prevention Officer James Grandstaff (314-442-2075) to pick items up from within Creve Coeur during the week.
Help fill up a police car full of canned food! Most needed items include canned vegetables, canned beans, canned pasta sauce, canned tomato products, canned tuna, canned chicken, and canned soup, chili and beef stew.
If you have any questions, please contact Crime Prevention Officer James Grandstaff at 314-442-2075 or crimeprevention@crevecoeurmo.gov.
