The City’s planning staff has been working with the Planning and Zoning Commission on updates to the City zoning ordinance to implement the recommendations of the Comprehensive Plan. 

The Planning and Zoning Commission has studied the East Olive Corridor and the Lindbergh Corridor south of the Bayer campus to the city limits. Allowable uses and development standards including building height, setbacks, buffering, parking and site coverage have been reviewed over a series of monthly work sessions since last fall. Planning staff will be reaching out to affected property owners and nearby resident groups to review the contemplated changes and to allow additional input prior to scheduling public hearings by the Planning and Zoning Commission.
